QUILT BINDING

COMPETITION STYLE MITERED CORNERS

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	Learn to calculate, make and attach double fold quilt binding on a quilt. Learn to sew a miter to connect each corner. This reduces the time and effort to join the binding in the middle of one side of the quilt. This style binding is the preferred style when judging quilts in competition.
Materials Included:	practice material to get started
Requirements:	Must bring a sewing machine in working order along with thread, marking pencil, pins, scissors, seam ripper, wonder clips and a 3 1/2 inch square ruler (if you have one).
